Russian Salad
Ingredients:
1 boiled potato (cubed)
½ cup peas (boiled)
½ cup apple (diced)
½ cup cabbage (shredded)
½ cup mayonnaise
½ cup cream
1 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp black pepper
Method:
1. In a large mixing bowl, add potato cubes, peas, apple, and cabbage.
2. In another bowl, whisk mayonnaise, cream, salt, sugar, and black pepper until smooth.
3. Pour the dressing over the vegetables and mix well.
4. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
🍝 Macaroni Salad
Ingredients:
2 cups elbow macaroni (boiled)
¼ cup chili garlic sauce
3 tbsp ketchup
½ cup Thousand Island sauce
3–4 tbsp red cabbage (shredded)
3–4 tbsp cucumber (cubed)
3–4 tbsp sweet corn
3–4 tbsp boiled red beans
3–4 tbsp capsicum (chopped)
Salt to taste
¼ tsp red chili powder
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
2–3 tbsp lemon juice
Method:
1. In a large bowl, combine macaroni, red cabbage, cucumber, corn, beans, and capsicum.
2. Add chili garlic sauce, ketchup, Thousand Island sauce, salt, chili powder, black pepper, and lemon juice.
3. Mix everything until well coated.
4. Chill in the fridge for at least 1 hour and serve cold.
🌿Chana Chaat
Ingredients:
1 cup boiled chickpeas
3–4 tbsp boiled red beans
3–4 tbsp chopped onions
2–3 tbsp sweet corn
2–3 tbsp capsicum (chopped)
2–3 tbsp cucumber (cubed)
5–6 tbsp tamarind sauce
2–3 tbsp chili garlic sauce
1 tsp roasted & crushed cumin
1 tsp salt
¼ tsp red chili powder
Method:
1. In a bowl, combine chickpeas, red beans, onion, corn, capsicum, and cucumber.
2. Add tamarind sauce, chili garlic sauce, salt, cumin, and red chili powder.
3. Mix well until everything is coated.
4. Refrigerate before serving for a refreshing taste.
