1Stanley Park - Great hiking trails, beautiful scenery all through the park & along the seawall.
2. Granville Island - Old style market with an abundance of fresh foods to try and purchase.
3. Grouse Mountain - A great place to bring the family and meet friends. During the summer season there is always something going on that makes it great value. Around Christmas holidays is also great.
4. Museum of Anthropology - This museum has a wide range of selection of authentic, artistic and unique items basically from first nation people.
5. Kitsilano Beach - Great beach, good vibes. Great view of Vancouver and joyfulness is here.
6. Gastown - Old architecture, nice restaurants, a ton of shops and boutiques and do not miss the steam clock, really interesting!
7. Canada Place - This area is down by the harbor.
8. Chinatown - Quite a lot of Chinese restaurants. Good for your dim sum brunch or afternoon breaks. Gets busy on the wekend
9. English Bay - The place is a heaven in a sunny day, it has a stunning beach, pedestrian track and cycling track that takes you to the seawall, in addition to nice seats and refreshment stations along the road.
10. Capilano Suspension Bridge - Beautiful, very well taken care of place! The entrance fee isn`t cheap, but it`s worth going at least once, walk all around and see all that the park has to offer.
11. Robson Street - If you are looking to spend an afternoon strolling a major street with lots of shops and cafes, Robson is it!
12. Museum of Vancouver - Overall, this place is a very interesting museum that explores Vancouver's cultural diversity, issues, and history. It flows very well from one exhibit to the next, and shed light on many aspects of the city from its First Nation heritage to the cultural influences as well. It's reasonably priced. Worth a visit if you're in the area.
13. Queen Elizabeth Park - A beautiful park at the top of Vancouver. Little Mountain is the highest point in Vancouver at 500m with a stunning view of the city and North Mountains.
14. Science World - It's definitely more suited for kids, but most adults will find it interesting nonetheless! They also have a cute little bookshop worth checking out and a massive theatre.
15. Richmond - a historic fishing district, museums, galleries, and award-winning restaurants.
