Icon of the Seas: Central Park 360º Tour (8K 360)

Walking through areas with still clips from some venues embedded in you can move around to look 360º by clicking and dragging on your computer or moving your phone/tablet around in the air. For the best experience even view it on a VR headset for a truly immersive tour.

The Icon of the Seas' deck 8 is home to Central Park. This massive area that encompasses the majority of the deck first made its appearance on the Oasis and Allure of the Seas. While the Oasis class has gained additional ships and featured nearly 2 decades of evolution, this area has been relatively untouched. With the Icon of the Seas though Royal Caribbean has taken a new approach starting with a blank slate to create a completely new Central Park concept. Featuring a different path layout, new plants never used before, and multiple growing walls it looks and feels like no other central park. The center piece though has to be The Pearl which spans from the Royal Promenade on deck 5 all the way to Central Park on deck 8 with glass windows that allows a view into The Pearl Cafe and even out to sea for the first time.

While the venue is a great quiet place to relax and read a book, it is also the primary location for the specialty restaurants with Chops Grille, Izumi Hibachi, and for the first time a new Izumi in the Park concept along with the complimentary Park Cafe. You'll also find lounges and bars including an expanded Trellis Bar and the debut of Lou's Jazz N' Blues as a new lounge. In addition to those venues there are also several small high end stores located to the one end. When you enter the lobby at either end of Central Park you'll notice a difference, directly across from the forward end is the brand new dinner show experience known as the Empire Supper Club. At the aft end you can cross the lobby and have direct access to the new Surfside neighborhood via an outside staircase down to its deck 7 location.

This new version of Central Park exists on all of the Icon class ships including Icon of the Seas, Star of the Seas, & Legend of the Seas.
