T'puram: The CPI has decided to demand general criteria for admitting new parties into LDF. The party executive meeting held yesterday decided not to take the decision in advance on expanding the coalition. C Divakaran and K Prakash Babu quarrelled over not being informed of the meeting held in connection with the preparations for Lok Sabha election. The CPI leadership would approach the issue on the basis of its earlier stand that all the parties who had left LDF should be brought back. But since there are more parties outside the coalition than within, the issue is a complex one.
