Описание: #20 Mustangs remained undefeated in ACC play by handing the #18 Panthers their first loss of the season, 48-25. SMU outscored Pitt 24-0 in the second quarter to blow the game open. SMU quarterback Kevin Jennings had a career-high 306 passing yards and two touchdowns on 17-25 passing. Running back Brashard Smith ran for 161 yards and two touchdowns and had 21 receiving yards and another touchdown. Tight end Matthew Hibner caught three passes for 108 yards, including an 80-yard touchdown catch and run. Pitt running back Desmond Reid finished the game with 133 all-purpose yards and a rushing touchdown. Eli Holstein threw for 248 yards on 29-47 passing.
