Faulty electronic voting machines leave our elections systems subject to manipulation and compromise

Описание: For years, election systems around the country have been beset by buggy machines and software that is potentially maliciously compromised. As Susan Greenhalgh points out, computer scientists have been sounding the alarm on their security and engineering since the late 2000s.

What's more, the same companies in charge of producing this faulty technology have tasked themselves with overseeing its repair. In other words, self-policing. We need independent overseers to address these vulnerabilities.
