Shooting Professional Portraits on Kodak Ultramax 400

Описание: I've had this box of Kodak Ultramax 400 in my fridge for over 6 months now. I have to say if there was one 35mm film that I really really really hated, it was Ultramax 400. Kodak Gold 200 was my go to consumer film of choice. But, I wanted to make a photography vlog for the channel, and since this was the only film I didn't have set aside for something, Ultramax 400 shot these portraits.

I have to say, I am just blown away by the way Ultramax 400 rendered the light and the skin tones. I shot these on a Canon EOS 1N-RS and a Sigma Art 50 mm 1.4. The f/stop was 1.8 and the shutter was around 1/1600 for most of the images. I think as with all things photography, good light is going to be key to getting amazing images. I have yet to just take this film out during high noon and see how well the colors render, but I believe it would still be pretty decent imagery as long as it is shot correctly.
