Dr. Sipp has been involved with Head Start since he was a child in the JCCEO Head Start program in Birmingham, Alabama, and later as a parent when his own child was in Head Start. He has served in many professional roles within the Head Start community, starting as a teaching assistant and later as a trainer, administrator, and content area expert focused on disabilities and mental health. While working in various Head Start programs, he earned his bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees in special education from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). Today, in his role as Executive Director at Acelero Learning - Clark County, he leads Nevada's largest provider of Head Start services. (excerpt - Acelero Learning)
