I got this transmission/ transfer case as part of a trade for a 4.2L engine that I plan to put in my 1963 AMC Rambler project. This Peugeot transmission has a reputation for being unable to handle horsepower and aggressive driving. It served no purpose for me, so I listed it for sale and apparently it serves no purpose for anyone else as no one bought it. As I have somewhat limited space and an excess of other parts, this had to be parted out along with the attached NP231 transfer case.
