In today’s episode of Your Horizons, I take care of a much-needed deck repair and reveal the results of our latest community vote.

First, I replace a damaged dorade vent that was broken during an engine failure incident involving a large trawler. I’ll walk you through removing the old vent, prepping the deck, drilling new mounting holes, sealing it properly, and installing the new hardware to keep water out and airflow moving below deck.

While I’m at it, I also install a new 12V USB and USB-C power outlet at the electrical panel for easier charging onboard.

Then, at the end of the video, I reveal which project the community voted for next—and we’re officially moving on to the portlights and hatches refit.
