In a fiery address to the media, BRS working president KT Rama Rao (KTR) lashed out at the Revanth Reddy-led Congress government over the recent demolition of houses belonging to the poor. Visiting the victims of the Velugumatla Bhoodan land evictions in Khammam and those affected by the Musi River beautification project in Hyderabad, KTR asked whether "Indiramma Rajyam" meant rendering the poor homeless. He highlighted that many families possessed valid government-issued pattas and tax receipts, yet their homes were razed without due process. KTR vowed that the BRS would fight a legal battle in the Supreme Court on behalf of the victims and promised that once BRS returns to power, they would rebuild every single house at the same location.
