Описание: Welcome to the Ancient Stone Mysteries of New England YouTube Channel!

I'm Independent Researcher Mike Luoma, the author of ANCIENT STONE MYSTERIES OF NEW ENGLAND: DISCOVERING ANCIENT HISTORY ALL AROUND US (2022). The book shares the first two years of my personal journey of discovery as I found out about the existence of Indigenous Stonework in New England. The book also shares hundreds of my B&W photos of stonework around the region. This video channel has been around much longer than the book. I began making videos on the stonework after my first visit to stone chambers in Acton and Upton, Massachusetts, in late December of 2019.

From shooting video and photos, to direction, editing and writing, on through narration, production and final posting, I do everything myself - true DIY. The only exception is the music, which is usually by Composer and Performer Kevin MacLeod, who shares his Royalty Free music for others to use in their projects.

On the channel, you'll find my "Experiencing... " videos sharing my First Visit(s) to sites, including first impressions and initial research discoveries. My "Returning... " and "Revisiting... " videos then share my Follow-Up Visits, continuing research and new discoveries. Each Episode in the Ancient Stone Mysteries of New England Video Series takes a Deeper Look at Issues and Ideas relating to New England's Ancient Stonework, while the Ancient Stone Mysteries of New England Feature Focus Series presents Compact, Concentrated Looks at Individual Stoneworks, one each episode.

On my longer-length videos, I share extended looks at the stonework we see - I try to shoot and edit my video to give you the chance to study the stonework along with me. BUT. You usually won't see me - Mike Luoma - in my videos. I figure people are watching to see the stonework, not to see me. The handful of exceptions usually involve work with others, or attempts to provide scale, for size.

The work continues! There is no release schedule, videos are published as completed. Late Fall and Early Spring are the best exploration times of the year, so any posting at these times is sporadic. There tend to be more videos in Winter and Summer as the stonework at these times is rendered invisible - in the former by snow, in the latter by lush green vegetation.
