Using court documents from the ship arrest and playback from Ever Given's Vessel Data Recording we learn about arguments between the two Suez Canal Authority pilots on whether to enter the canal and how to navigate the high winds. As the vessel prepared to ground, we hear from the ship's master.
There is also a call to sign the Green Channel Travel for Seafarers petition, led by Frank Coles, to improve the ability of mariners to return home and to their vessels as COVID still grips most of the world.
