Today’s guest is Peter Azorsa, a soon-to-be graduate of Hood College’s Biomedical Sciences Master’s program. Raised between Maryland and Arizona, Peter earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona in 2015.
Since then, he’s built an impressive career in both industry and government, focusing on groundbreaking work in cancer immunotherapy.
Now, Peter is preparing for an exciting new chapter, beginning his Ph.D. this fall at the University of Michigan through their highly competitive Programs in Biomedical Sciences (PIBS).
In this episode, we’ll talk about his academic path, what drives his research, and how his experiences have shaped his vision for the future of biomedical science.
