Meanwhile, Wreana, Faye, and Niren rush to track her down, ready to take on anyone to get Oak back. At the Cobalt Soul, the group reunites just in time to learn the Shemshilver family has been murdered…and the pieces don’t add up.
As alliances shift and old rivals resurface, the city begins to tremble—quite literally—when crystalline red elephants burst into the Suncut Bazaar.
