We've always believed there is most definitely a distinction between what we do as full time overlanders to the real offroad crew.

In this video we must definitely cross that line and venture into the real offroad world.

This is not something we'd normally do as we want to preserve our vehicle which also carries our full time home.

On the other hand we never know when our journey around the world will leave us no other choice than to take a difficult offroad trail.

Having a removable Four Wheel Camper truck camper gives us the awesome opportunity to do this type of thing without risking our tiny house.

We saw this as an opportunity to practice offroad driving techniques and recovery in a relatively controlled environment surrounded by experienced locals.

We won't lie it definitely had our nerves on edge and gave us plenty of terrifying moments but over all we had a fantastic time.

It's important to know not only your own but also your vehicles limits.

This journey through a beautiful Taiwanese valley in Nantou to reach a remote hot spring is an adventure we'll remember forever.
