Описание: The Alta Via 1 is a backpacking route in the Dolomites, a mountain region in northeastern Italy. I decided to hike the 75 mile route over 8 days, staying in rifugios (or mountain huts) each night.

In this video, I hike from Rifugio Carestiato to the La Pissa Bus Stop, which marks the end of my route. The last few days take me across meadows, through mud, along mountain ridges, and over cloudy peaks.
