HOKKAIDO VLOG | Exploring Sapporo, Otaru, Asahikawa, Biei, Stonehenge, Blue Pond, Shikisai-no-Oka

Описание: This is Part 1 of our 7-day summer trip to Hokkaido, Japan. Sapporo, Otaru, and Asahikawa have quite the charm, but I fell in love with Biei. It has many beautiful farms, nature wonders, and scenic landscapes. I like that we visited during the summer, but I also want to see Hokkaido in the winter with snow. Gosh, perhaps spring and autumn, too.

This travel vlog highlights our daily adventures in Hokkaido. I also included the itinerary and guides for trains and buses.

📍 Otaru Canal (a popular tourist spot in Otaru, it looks different in every season)
📍 Kitakaro Otaru (home of the beloved Hokkaido sweets brand, try their cream puffs and madeleines, one of most delicious in the world)
📍Otaru Music Box Museum (take a photo of the steam clock outside the building, it's a gift from Vancouver)
📍 Asahikawa Station (recommended hub if you're visiting Biei and Furano)
📍 Hotel Amanek (affordable hotel with modern amenities, it's walking distance to Asahikawa station, too. I loved their breakfast buffet plus they have Onsen)
📍 Yoshinori Coffee (a nice place for coffee lovers, I like the aesthetic, I wish I could go during winter to see the view outside the cafe)
📍 Biei Station (I'm amazed to visit one of the most beautiful 100 train stations in Japan. It's built in 1899, too and they still have manual ticket inspection routine. That is extraordinary!)
📍 Shirahige-no-Taki Falls (one-of-a-kind waterfall in Japan)
📍 Shirogane Blue Pond (perfect blue pond that is so serene, one of my bucket lists in Hokkaido)
📍 Shikisai-no-Oka (like Tomita Farm, don't miss visiting this farm)
📍 Patchwork Hills / Shinei-no-Oka View Park (I'm in awe of the rolling hills)
📍Saizeriya (always a favorite restaurant in Japan)
