Today, we're on the Avalon Tapestry II. This is an Avalon Waterways river cruise ship, sailing on the Seine River in France.

You'll enjoy the nice appointments throughout. At the front of the ship, step up to the bar or use the 24/7 self-serve coffee/tea/hot chocolate station just inside the Panorama Lounge. The Panorama Lounge is the real hub of this ship. It feels like a living room, with decor that is upscale and comfortable. There's a library area if you're looking for a book. And there are many seating areas - for large and small groups to gather around the lunch and snacks served up daily in the Panorama Lounge . . .or for music and entertainment . . and for the Cruise Director's short talk before dinner to confirm all the details of your upcoming ports and activities.

Beyond the Panorama Lounge, we'll show you to all the community spaces available to you when you cruise on the Tapestry II on a river cruise through France. This is a ship that consists of four decks. We'll start with the three inside decks that include guest staterooms and important common spaces including the Lobby, the Cruise Director's office area, Club Lounge, the Dining Room, Fitness room and the elevator in addition to the always popular Panorama Lounge.

When you go outside, you'll enjoy the multi-functional spaces on the Sun Deck. This is the upper deck, with outdoor seating. It houses the navigational bridge and is the location for a lot of fun activities while you're cruising. There is a barbecue lunch venue on the top deck where you can enjoy an outdoor alternative at lunch when the weather is good. There are bicycles for guests' use - either during a planned excursion or for a ride on your own! You'll find lots of seating, outdoor games, a hot tub and a walking/jogging track.

Avalon has thought of so many details to allow you to feel at home as you unpack once and enjoy your floating boutique hotel traveling along the river.
