In this clip, Shawn Prez started off speaking to Dr. Michael Baden about doing an autopsy on civil rights leader Medgar Evers after he had been dead for nearly 30 years. When Shawn asked if it’s ever “too long” to do an autopsy, Dr. Baden explained that Johnnie Cochran called him about Ron Settles, the former Cal State football player who died under controversial circumstances. Going back to Medgar Evers, Dr. Baden was asked to exhume Evers over evidence related to Evers’ death. From there, Dr. Baden explained that bones stay intact for years, which helps with the examination of people who have been shot, like Evers. Dr. Baden then spoke about how Evers’ body was in “perfect condition,” as no moisture had gotten into his casket, and Dr. Baden added that it was like he was buried yesterday. Dr. Baden then revealed that Medgar’s son, Van, came to view his father’s body, and they set up the examination room like a funeral home for him.

Speaking about the autopsy, Dr. Baden spoke about discovering the bullet trail that killed Evers, which was presented in the trial of Evers’ death. Moving along, Shawn Prez asked Dr. Baden what the average process of an autopsy of a recently deceased person and someone who died years ago is. He explained that the process is the same, adding that it lasts about 2 hours, and Dr. Baden went on to detail the process. Dr. Baden then detailed how a second autopsy is done, and when speaking about civil rights leader Medgar Evers, Dr. Baden revealed that there were bullet fragments left in his body. The evidence he found was then shown to the jury in Evers’ murder trial 30 years after his death.

Lastly, Dr. Baden reflected back on some of the details involving the O.J. Simpson trial, such as the way in which Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman were stabbed to death. He offered pushback against the notion that he's changed his viewpoint on the infamous double murder before outlining some key instances involving the blood stains of the assailant, how the stains came about, and why the blood samples were collected and sampled. Lastly, he discusses logistics involving the alleged fight between Ron Golden and the killer and how that related to O.J.'s alibi.
