Описание: In the Philippines Filipino-Amerasians have been greatly affected by the U.S. Citizenship Law hindering their ability to claim their natural birthright. Left by the ship during the 1960, 70s 80s and early 90s when U.S. military forces pulled out of the Subic Bay Navy Base and Clark Airbase in Pampanga, thousands of Amerasian children were left behind. Many have been searching decades to be reunited with their biological fathers, whilst many of the fathers did not even know they had fathered a child in the first place. Even with DNA testing proving who their real biological father is, they are still hindered by a demeaning Unites States Citizenship Law that prevents them from becoming a U.S. citizen due to the Amerasian Act of 1982 that unbelievably left out the Philippines, but did include Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam.

This is the story of two of those Amerasians, Kimberly and Jaja who unselfishly give up their time to offer support to other Amerasians in their home community of Olongapo aswell as extending help to other less fortunate people, such as poor school children and street kids.

The Leah and Blair Slog will personally be giving P2500 to both Kimberly and Jaja for their own needs and another P5000 for the group they represent, The National League of Filipino-Amerasians.
