2025 MasterCraft Adaptive Surf Recap

Описание: In 2025, the High Fives Foundation and MasterCraft Boats continued their shared mission to create waves of opportunity through adaptive surfing. Across 38 surf trips and 152 hours on the water, athletes, volunteers, and partners came together to celebrate inclusion, confidence, and community.

A total of 108 athletes participated in this year’s program, with 58 first-time surfers joining the High Fives Ohana. From first rides to new records, each athlete showcased courage and joy that rippled through every event.

High Fives Foundation is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Truckee, California, dedicated to preventing life-changing injuries and providing critical support to adaptive athletes and veterans. Founded in 2009 by Roy Tuscany after his own spinal cord injury, the foundation has since assisted athletes across the U.S. and Canada. Through programs like the Empowerment Fund, Military to the Mountains, and Return to Dirt, High Fives offers grants for adaptive sports equipment, rehabilitation services, and mental health support. Their initiatives encompass a range of sports, including skiing, surfing, mountain biking, fishing, and dirt biking. With over $10 million disbursed and more than 1,600 grants awarded, the foundation continues to foster a community of resilience and positivity, helping individuals redefine their limits and embrace new adventures.
