This is a relaxed and senior-friendly experience, perfect if you’re traveling with parents in Taichung.

For this trip, we stayed at Micasa Hotel, just a short walk from Taichung Train Station, making it very convenient for DIY travel using public transportation.

🚆 How We Got There (DIY Travel Info)

Train ride from Micasa Hotel:
We took the train bound for Keelung and got off at Tai’an Station
➡️ 9 stops | 36 minutes

Uber from Tai’an Station to Zhongshe Flower Market:
➡️ NT$115 | approx. 1.6 km

Entrance fee (with buffet lunch included):
➡️ NT$400 per person

We chose to have lunch first, then explored the flower fields at a relaxed pace—ideal when traveling with parents.
