The fall trout stocking season has started for Virginia's urban program waters. In this report, Brendan Delbos, State Hatchery Superintendent, provides an overview of the urban program and DWR's coldwater hatcheries. Additionally, L.E. Humphreys, Montebello Fish Hatchery Manager, leads a stocking event at Dorey Park Pond in Henrico County. Join Scott Herrmann, Fisheries Biologist, to learn tactics and techniques to effectively catch stocked trout with both bait and an artificial approach.
