Dumbo's Circus Episode 42, "The Five Wishes"

Описание: Recently watched Defunctland's Dumbo Circus video (   • DefunctTV: The History of Dumbo's Circus  ) and was reminded of this fever dream of a television show from my childhood.

We didn't have cable TV when I was a kid, so my grandfather would record television shows and movies for me to watch and then let me have the VHS tapes. Before Disney Channel was available on basic cable, it was a premium channel where you'd occasionally get maybe a week for free as a promotion. My grandfather would take these opportunities to record content that normally didn't air.

This happens to be one of those tapes from around 1989, and somehow I've managed to hold onto these tapes and still have the ability to digitize them. The image quality is pretty poor as this tape was probably watched at least 100 times, if not more, and was only recorded as EP. Audio is Mono as it was a non-HiFi VHS recorder.

This started as a VHS to DV conversion which I cleaned up with some minor level edits, unsharp mask, and slight denoise on the audio with normalization. It was then compressed as a Variable Bitrate H.264 MP4. Hopefully YouTube doesn't rob too much of the "quality".
