South Sikkim | Buddha Park Ravangla | Namchi Char Dham | Vlog 6

Описание: On the 6th day of our Sikkim tour we started our journey from Gangtok to Pelling. On the way our plan included visits to Namchi and Ravangla.

Our first stop was the TEMI team garden, which is Sikkim's sole Tea estate.
Moving on, our second halt was the famous Hindu pilgrimage in Namchi, called 'Namchi Char Dham'. Here you will find beautiful replica temples of the "Dwadash Jyotirlingas" (the twelve jyothirlingas) of Somnath, Mallikarjuna, Mahakaleswar, Omkareshwar, Kedarnath, Bhimashankar, Viswanath, Triambakeshwar, Vaidyanath, Nageswar, Rameshwar at Rameswaram and Grishneshwar surrounding the statue of Lord Shiva and the Char Dhams.

Last stop was Tathagata Tsal (also known as Buddha Park) in the small touristy town of Ravangla. This is one of the most beautiful parks we have ever seen in India. The people of Ravangla built this appealing Buddha Park which has the most gorgeous statue of Sakyamuni Buddha (40m tall) which can be seen crystal clear from all sides of Southwest Sikkim near Ravangla and from a few areas of West Sikkim. It is an alluring park for visitors to enjoy ample peace with spacious pathways for soothing strolls as well as picturesque surroundings. The added tinge of a Buddhist conclave and a museum meditation centre make the place all the more impressive. You have more hidden surprises enclosed in the park. The life of Gautam Buddha is depicted in two different manners within a gallery constructed in spirals. A lake called Cho-Dzo is guarded by forests on all sides. The Park has a divine touch to it as the site chosen for its establishment was Rabong Gompa Monastery, an age-old place for holy expeditions.
