Beef Wellington is enjoyed by the British but I heard it’s a British adaption of French cuisine and it’s become well known in the US thanks to Chef Gordon Ramsay. Will @gordonramsay approve?
And most importantly will my mom and dad approve?
The legend is that Beef Wellington was named after Arthur Wellesley, the 1st Duke of Wellington, supposedly created to celebrate his 1815 victory over Napoleon, with its pastry shape often claimed to resemble Wellington boots.
