Vitaly Laletin vs Devon Larratt
I think Devon had a better chance of becoming the left-handed world champion than he did the right-handed world champion. On paper, Vitaly is the favorite. If I had to bet money, I would probably have to bet on Vitaly. But betting against Devon, all Devon has to do is pronate, slip, strap, pronate, hold on for dear life, resist, and then come forward. It only takes one or two times for Devon to do that and the rest of humanity will fade. I think Devon’s level is higher than he’s ever been. So on paper, it's Vitaly, but my prediction is 52/48 Devon. I think Devon pulls it out.
Serhii Kalinichenko vs Yordan Tsonev
Yordan just beat Prudnik left handed and he says his right is much better. I'm picking Kalinichenko. I'm choosing him because of his consistency. He trains like a madman, always on different machines and handles. I'm impressed with the young man, so I'm going to go 60/40 Kalinichenko.
Fia Reisek vs Brigitta Ivánfi
Brigitta did awesome against Irina Gladkaya. But how do you bet against Fia? She lost to Malin, but then had a comeback match against her and just ran her over. Fia is unbelievable in that weight category. I'm going to go as high as 70/30 Fia.
Nugo Chikadze vs Bogdan Stoica
Nugo is obviously the shorter lever. He has heavy pronation. As impressed as I am with Bogdan, I think I have to go Nugo, like 60/40.
Matt Mask vs Davit Arabuli
Matt is great for the league. He's very entertaining. He's extremely passionate and he doesn't hold back anything. I like the Georgians, but Matt has been impressive. Matt has a stronger hand and wrist in my opinion, while Davit has a stronger arm. I wouldn't be surprised if Davit won, but I'm going 55/45 Matt.
Oleg Petrenko vs Todd Hutchings
I have to go with Oleg. I will not be surprised if Todd pulls it out because Todd's a freak. But what I believe is Oleg is equally as strong as Todd in all areas, but has a stronger hand and wrist. Todd Hutchings is unbelievable, but Oleg Petrenko is probably 20 or 30 years younger and just a genetic anomaly. He's a freak; look how thick his hands and wrists are. But Todd pulls off the impossible all the time.
Efe Kömek vs Tarkhan Muzaffarov
This is another example of not knowing the other guy, so I'm going to go with Efe. Efe did look good against the Italian, Manuel, and he did win the super heavyweight WAF world title, so he's legit. This other dude looks thick, but I'm going to go 60/40 Efe.
Carolina Pettersson vs Esra Kiraz
I think Carolina Pettersson is starting to come into her own. I really think we've seen the best version of her since she came back to East vs West. I know Carolina has looked much better and her pronation, everything's good and her top roll is good. She is better now than she has ever been. So, I am picking 55/45 Carolina Pettersson.
Vladislavs Krasovskis vs Alexander Teliatnik (Manifestor)
Vlad the Destroyer is very impressive. I've been hearing so much about this Manifestor kid being ridiculous. So, if I went by that, I would say the Manifestor guy. But I'm going to go 55/45 Vlad just because I've seen him. I don't know the other guy. I've seen Vlad, and he's extremely explosive with a super strong hand and wrist.
Kamil Jablonski vs Michael Todd (Preparation & Strategy)
I am 30 pounds lighter than when I pulled Georgi. I am down to 125 kilos now, but I feel great. I perform better when I feel better, and being lighter gives me extra confidence because I know my strength is better than it was, and I am in better cardiovascular health. I can't imagine my strength gains being less than 10%. I’ve changed some lifts; for example, I recently did a 240-pound pronation back pressure hold for 15 seconds. All my efforts are focused on training pronation gauge back pressure. If I'm successful in this match in eight days, and for whatever reason, I don't get to pull Levan in June, I will never ask for the match again. I'm going down to heavyweight.
Assuming I’ll run over Kamil would be a mistake. I am taking this match as seriously as any match I've ever had in my life. I think he's a huge threat. Kamil is very dangerous and powerful. Probably raw power, one of the strongest guys in the league. I am coming into this focused on getting the win no matter how I have to do it. I don't care if it's pretty, ugly, fast, or if it takes the whole evening. I am going to fight until there is nothing left. My honest prediction is 99 to 1. He's got a 1% chance. I just personally cannot see a way for him to come out on top, because that means he'd have to be able to pin me three times, and I just don't think he can. I think I am going to win in a shutout.
