A real life horror story, this is a twisted true crime story of a narcissistic killer who proved that evil lives here.

The disturbing true crime story began on November 2001, when coworkers of 43-year-old Diane Holik called police and requested a welfare check after she had failed to show up to work.

When police entered her home, they found Diane’s lifeless body in an upstairs bedroom. She had ligature marks around her neck and her expensive engagement ring was missing.

Detectives launched an investigation into the real life murder mystery.

One of Diane’s neighbors told police they had seen a brown or gold van parked in Diane’s driveway the previous afternoon. They had assumed it was a potential buyer for the home, which Diane was selling. Other homesellers in the area had been visited by a suspicious man driving a brown or gold van over the previous few months. One seller had been so unnerved that they had taken down the license plate, which helped crack this real life thriller.

Police working the shocking true crime case traced the plate to Patrick “Tony” Russo, a part-time music minister at a local church and singer in a Christian rock band. Russo was also a convicted criminal who’d spent eight years in prison for several attacks on women.
