This was a very different cartoon- sci-fi and action, and much more "realistic" violence. It is estimated the at least 146 characters on the show were KILLED over the course of its 26 episodes.

Note on the Video I've posted two videos with essentially the same music, which is about Sorrow and the human condition. This version explores Sorrow from the point of view of the Existential Hero Wile E. Coyote, who must strive against a cold uncaring universe, the laws of physics, and the ACME Catalog to prolong his own meaningless existence with few morsels of tasty Road Runner. I also have a version of the video using Bruno Bozzetto's animation from Allegro Non Troppo, which is a beautiful, unforgettable and moving piece of work, but definitely sad.

This version has all the music, as well as the transition to the third part of this suite.


The music is an arrangement of the middle section of a 25 minute hammered dulcimer solo in G Dorian I recorded by in 2017. I've been experimenting with effects pedals with my Harpsicle Harp, which has an excellent built-in mic and sound system. You won't hear the harp itself, but one voice is a heavy distortion "liquid sludge" sound mixing fuzz and overdrive pedals. The "Orchestral" sounds come from a combination of an envelope pedal (that lets me hide the "attack" in plucking the harp) and a mellotron pedal with mimics the 60s mellotron made famous by the Beatles and King Crimson, among others.
