The Panerai Luminor 1950 3 Days Automatic is the cruiserweight entry in the Luminor 1950 family. As a 42mm rose gold "sports jacket" of a Panerai, this one combines the classical cool factor of the Luminor with black tie panache shared by few other PAM models.

Every Panerai Luminor boasts broad shoulders and a robust physical presence, but colored gold and Panerai can be a volatile mix. Its a blend that doesn't always gel with the 44-47mm case sizes and stark black dials.

But rose gold, 42mm, with a warm tobacco dial... that's a recipe for success. The Panerai Luminor PAM 393 combines these elements to great effect without allowing the sheer visual charisma of colored gold to overpower the supporting features.

And while the PAM 393 places a unique-for-Panerai emphasis on elegance, the fundamental sports watch character of the Luminor is retained.
