Auggie (5 years old) and I took our first real road trip in the Campbulance — our retired ambulance that we’re slowly turning into a home on wheels.
This wasn’t just a test run.
This was a father and son adventure.
This time we came prepared — real bedding, pillows, blankets — and we put the ambulance to the test to see what it’s really capable of. It wasn’t perfect, but it worked… and more importantly, it gave us something way bigger than just a vehicle test.
It gave us time.
Time to bond.
Time to talk.
Time to build memories.
The Campbulance build is still a long way from finished, but this trip showed us exactly what’s possible.
This is just the beginning.
