Demo for Trapping Floats and a re-do on Yarn Tension Management for Fair Isle, Stranded Knitting, or Double Knitting - Continental Style
Took a long while, to finally re-do the demo on yarn tension management which is a way to hold your yarn so that you can tension each yarn individually when you are using two yarns and knitting continental style.
This video shows a way to trap floats so that your stranded knitting does not pucker and pull tight. This way of trapping floats is easy to do and makes my knitting more elastic than the other ways of trapping floats. Consider this when knitting the leg of a sock where it is important to get your sock to go over your heel.
Do you have a preferred way of holding your yarn? Let me know.
