Catch Soultru Live from The Orpheum Theatre on Sunday at 6:00pm! A suggested ticket purchase of $8.00 is requested to support the series and the performing artist. While patrons will not be able to take their seats in the theatre itself, purchasing a ticket and tuning in to the concert will congregate an online audience that will hopefully bring the vibrancy and ambiance of The Orpheum Theatre into the comfort of home.
Soultru is a hip-hop/soul band based out of the Quad Cities Iowa/Illinois. They recently signed with Kansas City label The Record Machine. Combining poetic lyrics and a soulful sound, lead singer Terrance Banks draws influence from growing up around gospel music from artist like Fred Hammond, and Smokie Norful later finding artists such as Gavin DeGraw, Anthony Hamilton, and John Legend. Multi-instrumentalist Cadence Graham completes the duo to bring a cool groove and impressive, inventive sound that is Soultru.
