365,000 Mile BMW E39 Gets a COMPLETE Exterior Overhaul!

Описание: What a pleasure it was to have the opportunity to work on such a beautiful and unique E39, nonetheless a 365k mile one! About a week before filming this video, I spent 40 hours doing loads of maintenance to the car; including all new intake manifold related components, dual vanos rebuild, driveshaft maintenance, and miscellaneous other things.

After finishing the maintenance and starting on the paint work, I very quickly realized that the original condition BBS RC090's were going to be a total eye sore for the finished product. I quickly decided that, as SOON as I was finished with the paint work, I was going to refinish the wheels for the owner. Luckily, my good friends at Black Forest Industries helped supply me with brand new chrome hardware and dacromet coated nuts to give the wheels that last little bit of 'pop'.

All in all, I'm extremely happy with the way this car turned out! I absolutely love how honest this car is and how unbelievably well it has been taken care of for the past 22 years and 365k miles. The Oxford Green on tan interior is such a classic and timeless combination that will only continue to get better with age.
