The deteriorating relationship between the world's two biggest economies is increasingly being talked of as a new cold war.
Dr Simon Taylor, from the Cambridge Judge Business School, will address the questions: Is this a useful term? What is the root of the problem? And can these two nations find a way to live together peacefully?
Dr Simon Taylor
After degrees in economics from Cambridge, Oxford and the LSE, Simon Taylor began 15 years of experience in the City. He joined Cambridge Judge Business School as Lecturer in Finance in 2007 and was the first Director of the Master of Finance degree. He is a Research Associate of the Electricity Policy Research Group at Cambridge University. In 2009, he was awarded a Pilkington University Teaching Prize. Simon has been a Visiting Professor at Xiamen University in China. He is a Fellow of St Catharine’s College, Cambridge. He was awarded the Cambridge Judge Business School prize for research impact in 2017.
