Here are 4️⃣ tips — including body language skills — 👇🏻AND a list of the exact things to say the next time you're in line for coffee, at a networking event, or at a company party!👇🏻

1:58 1️⃣ Reduce your anxiety with self-talk! “The anxiety is coming from me and my beliefs, not this situation. I can do this!"

2:48 2️⃣ SMILE! Square up your shoulders to theirs, and point both of your toes to them. Uncross your arms, maintain eye contact (don’t be creepy about it), keep your chin up, and nod.

3:58 3️⃣ Ask questions! Use open-ended questions: Who, what, when, where, and how. ("Why" can be too confrontational.)
-Who else do you know here?
-What did you do this past weekend?
-What did you think of the speaker?
-When did you find out about….?
-Where are you from?
-What’s it like there?
-Do you miss it?
