Here’s how to do it:
• Use your admin key or fob and power up your Ford car.
• Go to the information display control and open the main menu.
• Scroll to settings and select it, then look for MyKey and select it using the right navigation arrow or OK button.
• Next, use the arrow buttons to navigate to the desired feature; in our case, it is the volume.
• Lastly, use the right navigation arrow or OK button to confirm your selection; in our case, the selection is disabling/turning off the volume limit.

Alternatively, clear all MyKeys. To do this;
Use the SYNC screen
• Use your admin key to switch off your car.
• Go to the SYNC screen and select settings.
• Next, tap on VEHICLE.
• Lastly, select MyKey and use the on-screen guide to clear.
• Once done, you will receive a confirmation message.
Please note that once cleared, all MyKeys statuses will return to their original admins key. Also, note that it is not possible to remove the MyKey restrictions one by one; you have to clear all of them.
Alternatively, use the information display. To do this,
• Use your admin key or fob to power up your Ford car.
• On the steering wheel, go to the information display control.
• Use the left arrow button to navigate to the main menu.
• Next, go to MESSAGE and tap on Action and Description.
• Then, go to settings and choose the OK button.
• Navigate to MyKey and tap on the OK button.
• Hold the button and wait for the “All MyKey Cleared” message. This is a confirmation that the process was a success.

If you are not able to clear MyKey, it is likely that you used a key without admin privileges to start your car. Go to the information display and search for the message “Admin Key,” or use your owner’s manual to know if your key has admin privileges. Additionally, it is possible that there was no MyKeys created in the first place. In such a case, go to www.ford.com/support/how-tos/keys-and-locks/mykey/how-do-i-use-mykey/ . Scroll to “Creating a MyKey” and tap on it. Use the steps listed under “To make a MyKey.”
