Bold Tigers F-15E & Triple Nickel F-16C Action | RAF Lakenheath

Описание: Very windy day at RAF Lakenheath but also a busy one, with lots of F-15, F-16 and F-35 activity.

Twelve Lockheed-Martin (Formerly General Dynamics) F-16CM Fighting Falcons of the 555th Fighter Squadron, nicknamed "Triple Nickel" from Aviano Air Base, Italy, arrived at Lakenheath last week on Tuesday.

Additionally, four Boeing (Formerly McDonnell-Douglas) F-15E Strike Eagles of the 391st Fighter Squadron, nicknamed "Bold Tigers" from Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho, United States. These arrived after a short stopover at Glasgow Prestwick Airport, Scotland.

These are both very rare visitors, so to see them both in the same day was certainly a treat for sure.
