2 Fun Toddler Games for Talking & Touch! (19–24 Month Milestones)

Описание: Play a copy cat word game for language development or make a DIY texture book to practice sensory processing skills with your toddler at 92 weeks! These activities are designed to help your child build developmental skills as they work toward their 19-24 month milestones.

All our games are developed with and approved by expert pediatric physical and occupational therapists and speech-language pathologists.

Games to Play:

• Imitate New Words: Turn your talking tot into a copy cat! Say some new words and encourage your toddler to repeat them. Make it a game by clapping or cheering each time they say the word back. This helps with skills like copying and expressive language.
• DIY Book: This book is full of textures instead of words! Attach things like feathers, buttons, and coins to pages glued together so your toddler can flip through and feel a variety of textures. This teaches them words for different textures and develops their sense of touch.

The games are not limited to 92 weeks. You can keep playing these games over the next several weeks as long as you and your child continue to have fun. If you are concerned your child isn’t meeting their milestones, trust your instincts and talk to your healthcare professional.
