Here are some clips showing our Phil Bolger-designed 'Hope'. Originally designed as a working Lobster Boat for use in Massachusetts, she was drawn as an open, outboard-powered boat for operation in the 10 to 12 knot speed range i.e. semi-displacement.
We built this boat for a customer who required a lapstrake hull, with a cuddy, cockpit, and an inboard diesel. Modifications were approved by Phil Bolger, with extra design work done by me.
After about thirteen years in the hands of the original owner, she has come home to live with her builder - hopefully for the long-term.
