Salt Lake County Metro Gang Unit warns gang violence can erupt at random, in public spaces

Описание: Gang activity is happening more frequently and with younger children, according to the Salt Lake County Sheriff's Metro Gang Unit.

Lieutenant Nate Hutchinson, project director for the Salt Lake Area Gang Project, said one of the trickiest things about gang violence is that it can erupt at random and in public places.

While the Salt Lake City Police Department has yet to confirm the cause of Wednesday night's Rose Park shooting, many in the community are speculating about gang involvement.
