🍕Chicken crust pizza
Did you know you can make a delicious high protein + lowcarb pizza with chicken?
.
As with any other pizza, it’s your move on the toppings. This one’s got marinara sauce, green peppers, onions, olives, pepperoni, and then crowned with truffled burrata cheese and fresh basil.
.
Here’s how to make it:
.
1.Preheat your oven to 425F. Take 1 lb raw boneless + skinless chicken thighs and OPTIONAL: trim off excess fat.
.
3.Put the chicken thighs in a food processor and process well with 3 garlic cloves, 1 large egg, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp black pepper, 1 tsp paprika, 1 tbsp Italian seasoning or oregano. Process well until you have a ground chicken mixture, then add 1/2 cup asiago or parmesan cheese, and process again for a few more seconds.

4.Grab a pizza pan or sheet pan, spray it with avocado oil, add your pizza “dough” and make a very thin layer of crust with the full crust mixture. Depending on the size of your pan, you can get 2 pizzas out of the mixture. Oh, and it doesn’t need to be a certain shape. You can do it in a sheet pan, as a circle, or anything that you like.

5.Bake for 27-30 minutes at 425F, or until golden crispy. Keep an eye on the oven starting the 20 minute mark as ovens vary. Remove from the oven.

To make the rest of the pizza:

6.Remove crust from the oven, put on your sauce + toppings, then put back in the oven for another 5-6 minutes depending on your toppings.
