Assalamu alaikum everyone.
Ramadan 2026 is approaching, and this year I didn’t want Ramadan to interrupt my life —
I wanted Ramadan to rearrange my life.
So instead of waiting for the moon sighting and then rushing,
I started preparing weeks before — slowly, intentionally, and deeply.
In this video, I’ll share everything I’m doing to prepare for Ramadan — spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and even practically at home.
This is not about perfection.
This is about making space for Allah.

🧡 PART 1: SPIRITUAL PREPARATION (THE FOUNDATION)
🕌 1. MAKING UP PAST FASTS
One of the first things I’m doing is:
• Listing down missed fasts from previous Ramadans
• Completing as many qadha fasts as possible before Ramadan
Because I want to enter Ramadan light, not carrying guilt from the past.

🤍 2. REPENTANCE & CLEANING THE HEART
Before cleaning my house, I clean my heart.
• Making sincere tawbah
• Letting go of grudges
• Forgiving people silently
• Asking Allah to remove pride, jealousy, and resentment
Ramadan deserves a soft heart.

📖 3. RECONNECTING WITH QUR’AN BEFORE RAMADAN
Not waiting for Ramadan to open the Qur’an.
• Daily recitation, even if small
• Reading translation slowly
• Re-learning how to sit with the Qur’an calmly
So when Ramadan comes, the Qur’an feels familiar, not heavy.

🌿 PART 2: PHYSICAL & HOME PREPARATION
🧹 4. DECLUTTERING THE HOUSE
This is one of the most underrated acts of Ramadan preparation.
I’m:
• Removing clothes I haven’t worn in years
• Throwing away items I keep “just in case”
• Clearing drawers, bags, cupboards
• Letting go of unnecessary things
A clean space creates a focused mind.

👕 5. GIVING AWAY OLD CLOTHES
Every piece of clothing I don’t need:
• Washed
• Folded
• Donated
Someone else’s Eid might be waiting in my cupboard.

🗑️ 6. THROWING AWAY STORED GARBAGE
We all have that:
• Broken items
• Empty boxes
• Things we keep thinking we’ll use someday
Ramadan is about detachment, not storage.
If it doesn’t serve purpose or peace — it goes.

💰 PART 3: PREPARING FOR CHARITY
💸 7. KEEPING CASH READY
One practical habit I’ve started:
• Keeping small cash notes (₹20, ₹50, ₹100)
• In wallet, bag, car, and prayer space
So charity becomes instant, not delayed.

🤲 8. INTENTIONAL CHARITY
Not random giving — intentional giving.
• Supporting someone’s iftar
• Helping a struggling family
• Feeding animals
• Quiet, unseen charity
Because Ramadan charity should be sincere and hidden.

🧠 PART 4: MENTAL & DIGITAL CLEAN-UP
📱 9. REDUCING DIGITAL NOISE
Before Ramadan:
• Unfollowing unnecessary content
• Muting distractions
• Reducing screen time
• Removing apps that waste hours
Because Ramadan is not for scrolling — it’s for stillness.

🕰️ 10. RESETTING SLEEP & ROUTINE
I’m slowly:
• Adjusting sleep timings
• Eating lighter meals
• Reducing caffeine dependency
So my body doesn’t fight Ramadan — it flows with it.

📒 PART 5: RAMADAN STRUCTURE & PLANNING
🗂️ 11. PREPARING A RAMADAN PLAN
I’ve created a simple but structured plan:
• Fixed daily dhikr
• Qur’an recitation + translation
• Surah memorisation
• Islamic learning themes
• Period-day alternatives
So I never wake up asking:
“What should I do today?”

🌸 12. PLANNING FOR MENSTRUAL DAYS
This time, no guilt.
• Dhikr
• Learning duas
• Listening to lectures
• Reading Islamic books
• Rest and self-care
Because closeness to Allah is not limited to salah.

✨ ENDING – THE BIG MESSAGE
Ramadan doesn’t need a perfect version of you.
It needs a prepared version of you.
A life that is lighter.
A heart that is softer.
A home that is calmer.
