This niggun was composed in the days after the terrible tragedy that took place in Eretz Yisrael at the conclusion of the beautiful chag hasukkos.
These words from Tehillim (Kapittel עט) really stood out to me, the contrast that although we pray for enemies downfall, although terrible things happen to us as a nation ultimately “Nodeh Lecha L’olam” we will continuously praise Hashem’s name and this is our true faith.
May we be zoche to thank Hashem with “V’nodeh Lecha shir chadash” in Yerushalayim very soon! Am Yisrael Chai!!
