With almost 150 attempts needed, this was without a doubt the most annoying level in all the three games. Many Crash 1 and 2 levels were much harder than this, but I just kept losing and losing and losing.
Sure, there are places you can expect to lose at least a couple of times. The knife throwing bandits on the skull platform path can be annoying, but they're not too hard to get past when you know how.
With the green gem, I now have all the colored gems and only a few levels remain.
