SECTION. presents Chris Cruse, straight from Berlin via Los Angeles.

Chris is the founder and resident DJ of Spotlight, the legendary queer warehouse party that's been reclaiming the roots of house and techno since 2012. What started in LA with a vision to celebrate the queer foundations of dance music has become something much bigger - a movement that's brought together everyone from Honey Dijon to Prosumer, attracting up to 1,500 people to parties that feel like proper refuge on the dancefloor.

Now based in Berlin, Chris is a Panorama Bar regular who's also graced Cocktail d'Amore, Glastonbury, and Coachella. He's part of Detroit's Club Toilet Crew and recently launched Spotlight Records to unearth overlooked queer dance music from past and present. His sound? Tough, sleazy, soulful, and fun - infectious grooves that work equally well in dark warehouses or under the sunshine.

From disco to house, Chris knows how to work a room. This SECTION. set captures exactly why he's become one of the most vital voices in underground dance music.
