1992 GSXR 750 Headlight Frame Replacement | Rolling Restoration
Today on Street Club TV, we’re checking another item off the winter to-do list for the 1992 Suzuki GSXR 750. This US-spec oil-cooled icon is in great shape, but the original headlight frame had seen better days and needed to be replaced to get the front end sitting perfectly again.
In this video, I’ll walk you through the teardown of the front fairings and the step-by-step process of swapping out the old bracket for a fresh one. It’s a small fix that makes a massive difference in how the bike looks and feels on the road.
In This Video:
Fairing Removal: Carefully taking apart the 90s plastics without breaking tabs.
The Old vs. New: Why the original frame needed to go.
Installation: Mounting the new headlight frame and aligning the assembly.
The Result: The front end of the GSXR is officially refreshed!
Project Status:
Bike: 1992 Suzuki GSXR 750 (Oil-Cooled SACS)
Current Phase: Front-end refresh and mechanical reliability.
Up Next: Gas Tank Replacement & Petcock Rebuild
Future Video: Rebuilding those Slingshot carbs!
