I was very curious about this cotton candy maker! I first thought the hand crank was the spinner for making the cotton candy. I was happy to see that it had a heater and it did have a spinner. The handle on the top was just to retrieve the cotton candy on a little arm. It said in step 3 to let it run until there was no more cotton candy and step 4 said to then collect the cotton candy and turn it off. You would think you just keep spinning the crank. This is your cotton candy ball! It was very small compared to many of the cotton candy machines I have tested on video. The flavoring did work and the taste was OK for such an old powder. My home made super fine sugar worked great.
