I wanted to doodle on an art journal page spread, and in preparation I wanted to test which pens and markers would work on paints. It turns out that I had a lot of dead ones in my collection. So began The Great Work of purging, sorting, organizing, and rejigging my living space, my art space, and all the other spaces.

This video starts with a vlog explaining what I did, why it kicked off, and how I feel about finally unpacking, and settling in.

After my flighty ramble, I work on an art journal project. It didn't go as I expected it to, but the beauty and joy of mixed media art is that you just keep adding another layer til you're happy. Watch me work!
